| New 290 PC Offenses |

The Governor signed urgency legislation on October 10, 2007, enacting Sentate Bill 172. This bill reorganized Penal Code Section 290. Deputy Attorney General Janet Neeley has provided the members of CSAIA with two documents in an effort to assist investigators and prosecutors in this transition. The two documents are a Conversion Chart of the old 290 PC offenses to the new 290 PC offenses, and a 290 PC Charging Cheat Sheet.
In order to view or download the documents you must enter the Members Area of the CSAIA website at www.csaia.org. Once you have entered your userid and password click on the Resource Folder to locate the documents.
